I believe that understanding the past will help you move forward.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a talk therapy that seeks to explore and understand your unconscious mind, and its influence on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. I take an active role in helping you shine a light on these unconscious processes to improve your self-awareness and self-understanding. As trusting in our therapeutic relationship is crucial to the success of your therapy, I offer a non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely.
My private practice is in Leith (Edinburgh) — I prefer to work in person, but am open to working online. I split my time between my private practice and working at Edinburgh University’s Student Counselling Service. I also tutor counsellors in training, helping them to develop their clinical skills.
